MISSION STATEMENT

One True God

We believe that there is One True God who is revealed Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit coexisting eternally differing in their attributes but of the same being and essence. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Mathew 28:19; Luke 3:22, John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6, NIV).

Authority of God’s Word

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the Love of God to the world. The Bible, both the 66 books of the Old and the New Testaments are inspired by God and is the revelation of God to man. These books provide everyone with a perfect treasure of divine instructions and narrate God’s purpose in the creation of the world, His plan for salvation in Jesus, and the standard by which He will judge the world at the end. The Scriptures are breathed by God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, written by men as the infallible authoritative Rule of Faith and Conduct (John 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21, NIV).

Fall of Man

We believe the man was created in God’s own image and likeness. He was good and upright, but by voluntary transgression fell from God’s glory and separation, thereby incurred of both physical and spiritual death (Genesis 1: 26-27, 2:17, 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).

Salvation of Man

We believe man’s only hope for redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Calvary, who is the risen Messiah, the Son of God. Salvation is found in no one else; as there is no other name, under heaven given to men to be saved (Acts 4: 12, NIV). We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. Salvation is received through repentance towards God and confirming once faith in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10: 9-10, 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8-9, Gal 2:16, 3:8, Titus 2:11; 3:5-7). This is evident by the direct inward witness of the Holy Spirit, living in Holiness, and outward expression to all men through righteousness (Acts 16:31, Romans 8:16; Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12, Hebrew 9:22).

Repentance

We believe repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; I John 1:9).

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God; Who according to the Holy Scriptures is revealed as:

  1. He was Born of a Virgin by the Will of the Holy Spirit (Mathew 1:23; Luke 1:31-35, John 1:1-4 and 1:29; Acts 1:11 and 2:22-24; Romans 8:34; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 and 4:15.).

  2. He was pure, spotless, and lived on earth filled with Holy Spirit and without any sin (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22).

  3. He did Miraculous signs, healings, and wonders to accompany his claim as the Son of Man (Acts 2:22; 10:38).

  4. He was trialed by the Jewish high council, judged without any blame under Pontius Pilate, and crucified for our sins, with the substitutionary finish of His work on the Cross (1 Corinthians 15: 3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

  5. He descended to the earthly realms and was bodily resurrected from the dead on the third day (Mathew 28:6; Luke 24:39; Mark 16: 4-9, John 20 20:6-8, Ephesian 4: 9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:4).

  6. He ascended into heaven and is exalted above all name to the right hand of God the Father (Acts 1:9-11; 11:2-33; Philippians 2: 9-11; Hebrews 1:3).

  7. He will come back in the same way and will make the final judgment for all including the living and the dead (Acts 1:11; Romans 2:16; 2 Timothy 4).

The Gospels

We believe the gospel is the good news of Jesus with the power, authority, justice, and mercy of God’s kingdom. The gospel reflects who we are and invites us to embrace Jesus and His work instead of our own. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, one can be redeemed as the sole foundation of their relationship with God. In short, the gospel confronts both sinners and the righteous who are attempting to establish a relationship instead to find their identity in the life and work of Jesus.

The Blessed Hope

We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their rapture together with those who are alive at the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (Romans 8:23; Titus 2: 11-14; 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44, 15:51; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Luke 24:16, 24:46-47; John 2:19-21, 14:6; Acts 24:15, 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Ephesians 1:7 and 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7, Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21).

The Second Coming

We believe that Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures (Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; II Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelation 1:7).

The Final Judgement

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment. 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; Revelation 20:11-15. There will be a final judgment of the wicked who are dead according to their works. These according to the scriptures are those who never put their hope and faith in Jesus, are sexually immoral of any kind, greedy and swindlers, idolater or slanderer, drunkard or swindler, and thieves and will never inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6: 8-10). Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life according to the scriptures will be consigned to everlasting punishment on to the lake of fire and others to everlasting Life (Mathew 25:46; Mark 9: 43-48; Revelation 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8, Daniel 12:2).

A New Heaven, and A New Earth

Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4). After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8). The old has gone and new will be in Christ, “keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a New Heaven and a New Earth, where righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:13, Isaiah 66:22, and Revelation 21:22)
